1cm dilated but internally closed

So I had preterm with my first child and since the beginning of my second I’ve been watched for preterm. Had my preterm test positive a few weeks ago and now I’ve gotten word my cervix is extremely short and 1cm but was told not to worry because internally my cervix is closed? Does this mean I’ll carry to term or?? I went into preterm with my first at 26 weeks and was 3cm dilated with a bulging bag. Was kept till 34 weeks and by then I was 5cm and 100% effected. Was discharged and sent in bed rest and had him a day before 37 weeks. Idk how I should feel. I’m overall paranoid and am consistently worried I’m going to go into labor soon. I’m 2 days till 28 weeks. I was kept in the hospital one day but was discharged and told I could go back to work with limitations and to jsut watch out for my water breaking or bad contractions. I wasn’t recommended bedrest this time around. I was told she advised against it. Anyone else in the same boat and what are you doing to keep your nerves calm?
