Why is my period brown?

Kyra • Happily married to my best friend, mother of an amazing little boy. I am a dental assistant and I love what I do!
AF decided to come 12/30 as expected... It's been super light and only brown! Very dark brown. And not even enough blood to have to change a pad all day? What is going on? No way this could be implantation bleeding right?
