Ovary pain?

I am getting like a stabbing feeling where my ovaries are I think I thought it might be because I’m ovulating because sometimes that happens when I ovulate but I should have ovulated about a week or two ago and I took an ovulation test just in case it was negative has anyone had pain in this area and ended up pregnant? I’ve had some slight cramping as well but the could be because I’m getting my period soon I’ve just never had this pain other than during ovulation. The waiting game is killing me especially since I’ve been experiencing some other symptoms and I’m still getting a negative test.
