At what stage of your pregnancy did you decide to inform your parent/parents about the impending arrival of a baby?

What factors influenced your decision to disclose your pregnancy to your parents earlier or later in your pregnancy? How did they react when you told them?

For my first baby I waited until 8 weeks to tell my parents, 15 weeks for my in laws.
For my second baby we did IVF so my parents knew the within an hour of when I got my first positive test, but we waited until 15 weeks again to tell my in laws. 
This time we did IVF again so my parents knew right away and we told my in laws around 4.5 weeks because we had to reschedule something and the only excuse we had was that I was pregnant. I really wish we didn’t have to tell them so early though because my MIL is such a blabber mouth and we’re really worried about losing this baby. 
Do whatever makes you feel comfortable. I don’t think there are any rules.

I told my family the day I found out because this’ll be my second baby and it’s just not as “wooo surprise!!” this time because I’m only 9 months post partum as it is 😂
