Banning my sisters husband and blocking them both

My sister married a guy and he's just a super weird thing and his behavior got even more strange as time went on. She defense everything this man does. The first thing he said to me was about my son's nails. He's going through a phase where he's painting his nails black. Her husband said "Nail polish makes kids homosexual." Because that makes sense. He would also say super strange things like when my daughter was in my son's room(she's 7, and he's 16) and said "Letting little girls into their brothers room in shorts that short is how big brother end up raping their sisters." I SCREAMED at him for one insinuating if my daughter was ever abused by someone it would be her fault, for accusing my son of being a predator, and sexualizing them. My sister defended him saying he's just being an uncle and his sister was raped so hes protective. I was still anger but forgave him after a few months. Then he started doing this horrible "pranks." He told my daughter her dad died. How is that a prank? And what completely made my lose it on him and husband actually punched him is we were celebrating my mom's birthday and he for no reason comes up to us with a hammer, turns to my 16 year old and asked how he would feel if he bashed his head in with a hammer. My husband saw red and punched him and they started fighting. He and my sister claim it was a joke. What kind of joke is that? What's the punch line? I couldn't deal with my sister and her husband anymore so I banned him from my house and blocked them both. This made my mom sad but I will not longer go to any events that he is at. Fuck all that.
