How early on were you able to detect your pregnancy?

At what stage of pregnancy can pregnancy tests accurately detect if a woman is pregnant? Can false results be possible?

10 dpo with my oldest. 6 dpo with my youngest. 1 dpo with this baby. I had a routine blood test. It came back as 13 HCG and I repeated it a couple of days later for an HCG of 236.

I tested at 4/5 days before my missed period and threw the test away because I thought it was negative 😂 I didn’t let it sit long enough then went back 10 minutes later there was a super faint line. I ended up testing again the next day and there was a definite pink line

I’ve tested 5 days before my expected period and still received a bright positive. I currently tested 2 days prior to my period and had lines immediately 🤷🏽‍♀️
