Bleeding during pregnancy normal?

This morning I woke up, went pee and when I wiped there was brown discharge. It has been like this all day and even some in my shorts. This is my third pregnancy and I’ve never experienced this before. Is this normal or should I call my doctor? I’m currently 6 1/2 weeks pregnant.

Odd question but does it look like there are kind of like brown coffee grounds in it? Brown bleeding and coffee ground like discharge is how my miscarriage started. That may not be the case for you but best to ask your doctor when you see any abnormal bleeding

I have never had bleeding with any of my pregnancies… does that mean it doesn’t happen of course not but if it’s unusual to you and you just want a piece of mind consult it can’t hurt to get that reassurance.

No bleeding in pregnancy is “normal”. However it is pretty common and doesn’t always mean anything bad. It’s important to let your doctor know asap though so they can monitor.
