Diagnosed with ICP and getting induced

If you find yourself scratching the bottom of your feet/hands/body uncontrollably then get your bile acids tested! I now have to be induced by 37 weeks and possibly sooner if they keep rising. It’s basically a liver issue that can cause stillbirth. I take pills to keep those bile acids low so they don’t harm baby. Baby is monitored TWICE a week (NST) now and I get my blood tested at the beginning of each week. Unfortunately ICP is VERY hard for doctors to study so there’s not a lot of information on it and usually it’s safest to deliver before 37 weeks. I post not to scare but to spread awareness ❤️ Currently 34 weeks and looking forward to holding my sweet boy!
