What to do with baby quilt from shower

We were gifted a quilt at our shower. It’s adorable and I love it, but I’m not quite sure what to do with it. It doesn’t match the nursery decor and we also got 3 activity mats/floor blankets, a crocheted blanket, and a bunch of muslin swaddle blankets. Any ideas for what to do with a quilt until baby is old enough to sleep with it or whatever she wants to do with it???

Quilts are good to have around for outdoor stuff, I keep one in my car for if we need a blanket to sit on at the beach or park. Pretty durable to just toss in the wash after, most quilts anyway

If it’s a handmade quilt and not store bought, I put them on a blanket ladder for display.

Definitely good for in the car. 
As for the activity mats you can always return two and buy other items. The muslin blankets I used as swaddles and burp cloths, changing table covers when out or just as a bit of protection on the couch. Crochet blankets are amazing! They can keep baby nice and warm while snuggling with you or cover car seats, or whatever really.
