I need opinions

So my period was due Monday the 28 I started spotting on Sunday no cramping or anything and then it stopped and had some spotting again a few days later but nothing else I took multiple pregnancy test and even went to the doctor all negative. My doctor said to wait another week or so and if I still don't get AF to test again... Could I be pregnant but to early to show on tests??
