Pregnancy test strips accurate?

So I have PCOS and for the last 6 months my time has been coming like clockwork. I am now 7/8 days late. I've been feeling v tired this wk falling aslp which I never usually do. I used one of these home strip tests I got in a big pack and its been neg a few times this week. Any advise? Do you think these strips are accurate or am I just clinging on for some hope?
