Unemployed boyfriend

Have you ever been with a guy that has no job?

My boyfriend recently got fired from his job about 2 months ago. He says he’s looking for a new one but I know him. He’s lazy. I bet he probably put in 1 application and called it a day. (if that)

he is 34 years old. I’m not going to say he’s never worked. He was working as a line cook for a few years. But I’ve been with him for almost 11 years. I know him.

I’ve always known he’s a lazy person. And deep down he is actually comfortable hanging out in my apartment all day, sleep in every day, wake up and go turn on the Xbox and sit there all day with absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to be. Just waiting for me to come home with groceries or weed to smoke….

I’m the one spending gas money to go pick him up, and then spending money on his train tickets when he starts to get on my nerves. After I send him home this time I’m not going to get him anymore. I’ve wasted so much money going to get him and sending him back. I can’t afford this anymore.

I can’t afford to spend money on someone just to come lay around my house doing absolutely nothing with themselves.

It’s actually crazy to see someone like him. Literally playing video games from the time he gets up to the time he goes to sleep. Every single day.

I had a vape I bought. And every 3 minutes he’s like “where’s the vape” like we both have to sit there smoking my one vape that I have. I can’t even have my own vape in my house we BOTH have to be on it all day and night. That’s what I’m working my ass off for. To share everything I have with my 34 year old toddler.

I provide all the food. And pay all the bills. And his transportation. He came up with weed that we smoked. Now he has nothing. I’m back to paying for everything.

It’s already driving me crazy and he’s been here for 4 days.

At this age, I need a man that can bring stability. Ease the burden of life and provide for HIMSELF. Not sitting around my house and needs someone to tell him what he needs to be doing. It’s such a TURN OFF.

Working as hard as I do. With as many bills as I have. And then watching someone sit around and think they have all the time in the world to find another job. Comfortable being a bum sitting around a girls house for however long. That is the biggest turn off !!!

I need a man that has a life. Somewhere to be, every day. A work schedule. A man that would never be comfortable sitting around a girls house that long waiting for her to provide for you. Not even looking for jobs. So he can continue living life like a 10 year old. ITS F***** Gross!

Then complaining if there’s no soda, or how he likes his food cooked, or arguing with me that the house is dark he needs the lights on all day long when he doesn’t have any money for my light bill.

I’m sending him home tomorrow. And not going to get him again. Now he needs to go find a job. Me coming to pick him up isn’t helping him accomplish that. And I can’t keep spending money for these pointless visits. Smh.

Anyone else ever had a boyfriend or friend like this? What did you do?
