Removable seat or not?

Hey y’all! I’m a FTM and am expecting my baby girl in January! I’m starting to build my registry and i need some advice on what kind of car seat to get. Me and my husband are back and forth between an infant seat that clicks into a stroller, or the permanent seats that last a little longer. We want to baby wear, but i live in Florida and I’m afraid baby wearing in the summer is just going to be too hot. If she’s in a seat i can have a fan on her.  I appreciate your suggestions🥰

I really liked my infant car seat. It made life so much easier to just pick it up, and click it on to the stroller base, rather than taking a tiny baby out everytime and disturbing them. It lasted us 1 year, and then we switched to a carseat that we've now had for 5 years. Im buying the same car seat again. It was the Peg Preggo brand, so the resale value was pretty good. We got 1 year use out of it, and sold it for more than half the purchase price, which was great to me.

I had 2 under 2 and i loved the infant seat because i could load the baby while in the house and set him on the porch while i loaded big brother in the car. About to have 3, 3 and under and i recieved one that stays in the car for this baby. I'll be interested to see how it goes as i live in the deep south (today it was 103 where i live) but i love to baby wear. A linen ring sling is nice and light for a newborn (I like the Wildbird company)

We got the infant carrier one and didn’t like it. I had a c section and couldn’t really lift it out of the car for awhile anyways. For our next baby we are just gonna start with the convertible car seat.

Just depends on your parenting style, tbh. With all of our kids we have left the carseat in the car and I wear a baby carrier. It is so much more convenient to me than dealing with a stroller. Waking up the baby isn’t really an issue because they are typically just happy and content to be held and go right back to sleep if they are still tired.

I like the infant seat because you can transfer it to the stroller without waking baby up. Doesn’t last as long as a convertible seat, but the convince is worth it to me

If i were to chose again now i would get a car seat that stands in the car(be sure to get ine that last rear facing till 50lbs) and a stroller with a bassinet option. Also a good structured baby carriern thats dad proof..

I loves my removable seat for shopping I could just put her if the cart and be 100% hands free or for walking around the mall or other places in restaurants ￼we would flip a high chair most for removable car seats so I could eat hands free but she could still be at the table with us. We did baby wear a-lot too though mostly around the house for doing chores I put both car seats infant and bigger one on my registry and got both.
