Stripping membranes
Okay, so getting ahead a little here but when I was preg with kid no. 1 they stripped my membranes at 37, 38, 39, and 40 weeks. It was excruciatingly painful and I don't think it did ANYTHING to speed labor.
This time I'm going to request that they abstain unless I'm 40 or there's a really good medical reason.
