Would you end a 8 yr marriage over this?

My baby was up all night and husband and I became frustrated with each other. At one point when I was holding and trying to soothe the baby my husband said to me that I make him want to make things violent. I told him he was crazy for saying that while I held our 6 week old baby. Later time went by and I told him I couldn’t be with a man who I love saying things like that to me and his response was get over it, it is what it is. At this point it seems we’re always arguing when the baby becomes fussy and it’s a long night so I’m just now thinking about focusing myself and my baby.

Pp is hard. Newborns are hard. Sleep deprivation makes you crazy. 
Watch for signs of pp depression in both of y’all. 
Y’all both need to get sleep. 
A new tests relationships. But that doesn’t mean you just up and walk away. 
If he actually hits you, that’s a different story.

Definitely hard being new parents, would recommend talking to a therapist before anything. Me personally I wouldn’t end a marriage based on that but everyone is different

Basic needs not being met like sleep, hygiene, and food make people the worst versions of themselves. Sleep deprivation is actually a form of torture so cut some slack talk about it after basic needs have been met. Those early weeks and days are stressful.

My husband says mean stuff when the baby would cry at night. He definitely loves our son. I feel because of the lack of sleep he said those things. It's not right what was said but when a person doesn't get enough sleep it messes with them. Maybe have someone watch the baby for a night so you all can catch up on sleep. Or you can take the baby in the next room.

No. It sounds like y’all are having a tough time adjusting and need to take a step back and find a better way to communicate. 
Being new, sleep deprived parents is hard. Talk about it- not in the middle of the night.

No, I wouldn’t. If I divorced my husband every time we were sleep deprived and angry…. Oh man. You both need rest. Call someone to help if you need. This stage isn’t forever, it will get easier. When you’ve both had some rest have a conversation about how best to support each other through these hard nights. 
With my first baby, my husband would just come sit by me. With our second I preferred space while I dealt with the baby. He would come quietly fill my water bottle and give me a kiss. If things were really rough I’d go to the living room so he could get some rest. There was no point In both of us being tired. As soon as he would get home from work he would take the baby so I could squeeze in a nap or even just a few minutes to relax without the baby.

It always starts with the little things y’all.. just because He didn’t hit you doesn’t mean it’s not abuse or dangerous
