Is it normal for my baby to have active days and quiet days?

Hey lovely ladies! I've noticed that my baby's movements vary from day to day. Some days, it's like a non-stop dance party in there, while other days, it's more quiet and mellow. Is this normal? Let's exchange experiences and see if we can find some patterns!

This is my third pregnancy and with all three I’ve had days that’s were more active than others. I just pay a little extra attention to the movements on the less active days.

This is my 5th pregnancy and I can say every baby has been very different. This one is the calmest of them all with frequent downtime and very little movement at night. I’ve gone in a couple times for monitoring because I’m so used to very active baby. I’m also 39 so they have done all the tests and she is healthy as can be.
She is also my first with a anterior (front) placenta and also has one in back which is a rare condition known as bilobed placenta so they said that could muffle the feeling of her movements.
