Help advice

I have 3 apps downloaded to help to concieve. I also have ovulation strips. For 2 days my strips have been saying I'm ovulating. That can't be right can it? 2 of my apps say today I am ovulating. 1 app says I don't ovulate until next week. I don't understand which is correct and I need to know if anyone else has this issue? Also, does it matter what time you have sex during the day of ovulation? Our schedule has us having sex at 12am or 4am. He works from early morning til 9 sometimes at night. Does the time of day affect the chances?
