Tube tied?

Do anybody have experience having their tube tied? We’re sure we’re done having kids. And I don’t really enjoy being on the pill. I also feel pretty hormonal off the pill. So I’m hoping this might stabilize my hormones. But if it’s not helpful for that, I’d rather he get fixed 🤣

I had my tubes removed 5 years ago. Absolutely no regrets and I highly recommend it.

A tubal ligation doesn’t stabilize hormones. Many women experience negative side effects. It’s surgery, with down time and possible side effects. 
My husband had a vasectomy. We wouldn’t change a thing. It was easy.

My husband is getting a vasectomy but I was browsing a pamphlet for heavy periods (which I have horrendous periods) at my 32 week appointment on Thursday and found this. I might look more into it. Didn't know it was an option. For when you're totally done having kids, can reduce or even stop periods. I think in conjunction with a vasectomy it may be a good thing to do for me, personally.
