Anyone have a baby shower yet? I have a question

FTM and my baby shower is January 17th. If any of you ladies have had your baby shower yet or remember your last one. Did most people buy off your registry? I know it's two weeks away and I need to relax but only 12 items have been purchased off my registry so I'm curious now. Do most people wait to the last minute? Did anyone buy off of your registry or go rogue? Just trying to plan if I'll be doing a lot of shopping after the shower or not.

I think people are waiting to shop after they get a few paychecks. Most people are still recovering from Christmas.

Thats my baby shower date too! I see 24 items have been bought out of the 145 inregistered for lol. Some people shop the day of! Dont stress

I only gave registery information if I was asked. I  I personally think it's rude to stress your registry to your guess.  obody bought me anything off my registry lol but I wasn't really expecting it. I made it clear that it was just a guideline and if they found something cheaper somewhere else, by all means save that money!! I did however request baby reading books instead of greeting cards and to my surprise I got a bunch of books and a few cards

My showers the 17th too! So far we've had 6 items bought off the registry, but I know when we had our wedding shower the weekend of the shower like everything all a sudden was purchased. So maybe they're just waiting till last minute?

I had to have mine early and at both showers people bought off our target and babies Rus registry. I couldn't believe my husbands moms friend who we don't really even know bought us our $200 maxi cosi car seat that we had on our registry! People can be really generous.

I find that not many people buy off the registery. I did register at Target but not expecting a whole lot of gifts from there.

I have one on the 17th and the 23rd. We have a Target registry with just a few things bought off of it so far. It can be frustrating, but I don't think people bought off of ONLY my registries during any of my pregnancies. They can always be getting you gift cards too, or diapers/wipes which is still awesome!

I had mine already it was a surprised one and to be honest only one person got something off my registry I got a lot of clothes in diffent sizes tho but I ended up getting spoiled at the end by my mother lol

I got most of the stuff off my Amazon registry and barely anything off my Target registry. I'd say about half the people bought off a registry and most of them were relatives. The rest were mostly books and all different sizes of clothes. Didn't get and diapers or wipes which was unexpected.

I had my shower a few weeks ago and not many people bought off the registry. We got a lot of blankets, a few clothes but no sheets or receiving blankets or burp clothes. The things we really needed. We did get a few gift cards and some money so we were able to use those to get a few of the must haves.
