Is it true that you shouldn't dye your hair during pregnancy?

Hello stylish mamas! I've been debating whether or not it's safe to dye my hair while pregnant. What are your thoughts on this? Share your hair care routines and let's rock our pregnancy style!

As long as you’re in a well ventilated are you’re fine, the risk is the smell can bother you. But no medical risk to baby.

It depends on the dye. My hairdresser only uses a formula with no ammonia so it’s ok. I think most have ammonia though

No it’s not the. The only thing though is that pregnancy makes the hair follicle unstable. So the color they put in might not be the color that comes out. I know this first hand. I went to get my hair dyed red and it came out like that trendy copper color and I hated it. I dyed it black. But it happened because of the pregnancy. My hairdresser used the right formula for the burgundy hue I really wanted. So while you can do it without harming the baby. I wouldn’t recommend taking the chances especially if you have a preexisting color already. Or do it if you don’t mind unpredictable colors I’m your hair.
