14 DPO & no positive hpt! 😔

Hello, I’m Amber, I’ll be 38 next Sunday (🎉🎉). This particular cycle was my boyfriend & I’s first time ttc. I’ve never been pregnant before never even tried until now. To my knowledge I don’t have any reproductive issues. Well today we’re 14 dpo, took a hpt, & the results were “not pregnant” 😔😔. Of course I’m sad because I already feel like I’m running out of time, & over 35 is a “geriatric pregnancy” & the title alone sounds discouraging. This cycle my symptoms were normal except no tender nipples & more lower back pain (left side). This lower back pain is more severe than usual. & has me thinking I may need to go to the hospital. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Im going to take some Tylenol & if the pain persists with no spotting, or a normal cycle flow starts then I’ll go to the hospital. Thoughts & opinions are welcomed☺️
