Clotted cream for baby - is this fine?

I’ve just given my baby (20 months) a pot of clotted cream to enjoy and she’s enjoying spooning it into her mouth and I thought the resistance it gives would be could for her dexterity and motor skills too, as well as being nutritious for her. I don’t do it all the time. This is the first time. Is that fine?

And I would give it with no second thought.

She’s almost 2. She should be eating a wide variety of table foods. Food should be her primary source of nutrition. It’s more than fine.

At 20 months they should be able to eat just about anything(specific items still meed cut up though).

Your toddler should be eating all textures of food. They should be eating everything you eat.
