Tens Machine worth it?

Question

I’m due in a few weeks but had a really bad back to back labour with my last child and oh my gosh the contraction pain is starting to give me awful anxiety. I’ve read about the tens machine as
I really don’t fancy a epidural but just wanted to know if anyone used one and it actually helped as allot of them have very mixed reviews.

I know some are really happy about them. Haven't tried one myself. 
But I do want to give a reminder that each birth can be different. You might not struggle with the same things as you did the first time.

Tens machines work really well for back pains. I would get one just in case or if youre delivering in a hospital you can ask L&D for one. They have different levels of voltage based on the pain youre feeling at the time. I have a high pain tolerance and have used them for several reasons including severe back pains. Its really based on the individual but i highly recommend trying the Tens + Wooden comb combo for pain management if you want to avoid the epidural. Ill be using the same methods because i cannot have an epidural or any pain meds :)
