Heart hole during anatomy test in 21 week’s pregnancy

Hi All,

As per anatomy test doctor told my baby girl has small gear hole during my 21 week’s pregnancy. I am scared I have an appointment on sept 9 with echocardiography. Below is the report description. I heard gradually heart hole fill up automatically. Is that true.

I am first time parent & this terminology scares me a lot.

Perimembranous ventricular septal defect: There si concern forperimembranous ventricular septaldefecton ultrasound today, with possible muscular VSD in some views. Outflow tracts are normal on imaging today. We reviewed that fi isolated, VSD's typically have excellent short and long term outcomes.
