can herpes look like a cut ??

hi everyone. i had intercourse and shaved down there last night while i was at my boyfriends house. a few hours after he said he went to the bathroom and his penis hurt a little. i am also a little sore and noticed a small, cut-like mark just under my vagina. it doesn’t hurt to touch or push on and it’s not super noticeable like normal herpes bumps would be.

is this something i should be worried about ??
