Bleeding?

Question

Did anyone/ is anyone currently bleeding more than spotting and how did it turn out? I am bleeding like a heavy period 7 weeks in. Dr took some blood work Thursday and is doing more Monday. They are calling it a threatened miscarriage right now but will know for sure after the blood tests Monday. Looking to see if there's anyway this may turn out ok.

Yes, this happened with our surrogate.  She has a sub chorionic hemorrhage. She had it happen at 10 weeks and at 12 weeks-15 weeks.  We are currently 15 weeks and the baby is perfectly healthy.  She has to take it easy, no lifting or excercise etc.  but not strict bed rest.  There is hope :)

I have a Subchorionic hematoma and I've been bleeding on and off since 6 weeks. I just had an ultrasound done yesterday and baby measures fine and heartbeat is good. So this sometimes happens. Maybe you have a SCH too?

I have bled pretty much constantly for 6 weeks and I am 13.3 weeks. Has been very heavy red and brown with clots. Every time I go for a scan everything seams fine but it is terrifying as there is nothing you can do. I am going to pay privately and have another scan in a week just to put my mind at ease again. I think it's more common than people think to bleed and babies are pretty resilient. Hope everything work works out for you!

I bled at 6w3d.....went to the er...my levels were good for where I was....my US showed a SC hemorrhage..... And a little heartbeat...they still labeled it as threatened miscarriage. The bleeding only last a few hours and maybe would have filled 1/2 a pad. I just lightly brown spotted for 2 1/2 days after....have my levels rechecked 3 days later and they had more than doubled. I went back 2 weeks later....and the hemorrhage was no where to be found. 
Bleeding is not always worst case. But its best to keep in contact with your doc....or go right to the er.

Yes, I bled pretty seriously at 8 weeks. Turns out I had a blood clot in my uterus SCH and it ended up shrinking by 10 weeks. I haven't bleed since and the baby looks healthy! I read it happens to 1% of pregnancies but it seems more common than that.

This happened to me with my 1st and 2nd pregnancy, 1st pregnancy I bled for nearly 5 months and she will be 4 this month, 2nd was 2/3 months hes 18months both times i was told it could of been twins and just lost 1, now pregnant with my 3rd and no bleeding so a bit worried in case of twins as they run in my partners family, hope everything works out OK for you x
