I heard this on the radio earlier today.

Did you know 80% of the time if a man waits more than 1 1/2-2 years to propose, it's most likely that the marriage will end in divorce?

Where as it the man proposes in 1 year or under, the chances of divorce go down by 20%?

It was an actual study they did. I found it so crazy. It makes sense to me. Thoughts?

Where's the study? Because I've read articles that say people that get married before 2 years are doomed. Lol.

My husband waited 6.5 years so I don't like our chances going by that study.

I guess I could see that. If he's taking too long maybe he doesn't want to commit incase someone else comes along? My husband proposed 6 MONTHS in, we have been happily married for 7 years now. 😉

I could see if from the view that someone dosent want to commit. But I actually did see a study that showed the more expensive the ring is, the more likely they will divorce. That seems more likely to me.

i read that its best to marry after 3-4 yrs of being together me an my fiancé were going to wait at least 3 yrs we been together for two yrs an he proposed to me a few days after our two year anniversary 😁 im pregnant. i accepted of course! but after the emotion an joy an happiness. i asked him why so soon did he proposed. he told me he was at work one day an it popped into his mind getting married being with me for the rest of his life he said he started planning how he would propose he realized he was very happy an excited about it something he had never ever felt for anyone in his life he couldnt wait any longer. he wanted to make sure i would be his an we would have an amazing family for a long long time. it was so romantic 😁😁 an hes not the romantic type so he was very serious about his decision to be with me for the reat of his life.

his brother got married to a girl he had only been with for 4 months  an they also expecting a baby they just turned a yr together. not to be negative on thier relationship butni guess we will see if time really matters or if its the love an commitment one has for their partner no matter how long they been together 😁
