Baby daddy taking our son?

So my bd hasn’t seen my son in months I have to beg him to send money. I have went to court for child support and he didn’t appear so they are rescheduling it for October to give him another chance to appear I guess. I know on holidays is the only time he will for sure ask for him such as thanksgiving or Christmas. I believe it’s only to show off to his family. It’s been 3-4 months since he last seen him which was in July for maybe a hour 1/2. My question is. Would you let your bd take your son for thanksgiving or Christmas when he hasn’t been in his life this entire time.
