Where do you keep your cars extra key?

My husband seems to think he has to keep it on HIS key ring. It drives me fucking nuts. I think it should be kept in a safe place IN THE HOUSE. Incase someone loses it, you always know where the extra key is and it is available AT YOUR HOUSE. Well, my husband is at work, I can’t find my keys (they were in his car)so now I’m sitting in my driveway waiting for my husband to bring me my keys when I could’ve just grabbed my extra key if he would have listened to me and left it in fucking side.

My husband has a spare key to my car on his key ring and I have a spare for his truck on mine. It’s never been an issue. We swap vehicles often so it makes more sense for us to just have the other key with us at all times. 
I do think it’s interesting that YOU lost YOUR keys, yet you’re pushing the blame to him and getting mad at him because he didn’t put the spare where you preferred.

I have to agree with you. We only have two keys to our car. The one we use lol and keep the other in our fire proof safe just in case.

My husband and I keep each other's spares. Mostly because we switch vehicles sometimes. It's just easier. I feel like you should be more upset with yourself for losing your keys, than you are with him for having your spare. If it does bother you that much, maybe get another spare to keep at home.

Im guessing I’m the only one but… I have my hubbys spare key for his van and he has the spare key for my car….

Can you get another spare key to keep somwhere in the house? Not sure why he needs it on his key ring tho lol... I guess if you happenned to lock your keys in the car while running errands, he wouldn't have to go home before coming to help...

My partners have two extra keys for my car on their key ring and I have their extra keys on mine. We also have extras locked up in our home office in a safe.

I have two extras inside my house. My house door has a smart lock so l don’t have to worry about being locked out my house if l misplace my car keys.
