Period late, symptoms, negative test?

I need some help.. my period was due yesterday.. usually i spot lightly the day before it actually is due, and then the day it's supposed to start, i start bleeding.. i haven't had any of that. I haven't had cramps or any of my usual period symptoms.. instead i have sore nipples, gushes of discharge, peeing frequently, super moody.. all symptoms i had with my first two pregnancies. Im just confused on why the tests would still be negative? My cycles are 26 days on the dot every month. Did anyone else experience this, and if so, how long did it take for you to get a positive test?
