Am I overreacting or is it just hormones?

I have a baby appointment this Thursday and I really wanted my Boyfriend to come however he decided to pick up a second job to help add income so that we can start out search for a house. With the hours he's going to be working he won't get off til 330pm which is the exact same time as my baby appointment he offered to ask to get off early but I told him it wouldn't be a good idea since this is a new job. So I asked my mother to come with and she's excited to come and see the baby but I'm so upset and heart broken he won't be there to see our little one I've broken down and cried like a baby I'm so sad. Part of me is upset but I can't be we need the money.

My husband is a police officer and can't make every appointment because of his work schedule so I totally understand.

Your bf might not be able to make this one, but try and schedule the next one around your bfs schedule so he can be there. You're one of the lucky ones where he's making a sacrifice and stepping up to the plate. It's all about sacrifice at this point. Don't be sad honey, just try and make it work. 💞

Girl don't be sad. He's making sacrifices to make sure his family is taken care of financially. I'm 19 weeks I haven't even asked mine to go to appointments .  But I did chew him up and spit him out about not asking about the baby and how few appointments went. Now he asks when is my next appointment.  And he's getting more attached to the baby as my belly continues to grow.  Ita so cute when the men rub the belly's

Awe sweetie I think he's just trying to be a good daddy and make that money for your growing family. Don't stress it, you will have plenty of appointments throughout your pregnancy.

My hubby works out of state during the week...I knew from the beginning he wouldn't be at any appointments unless they were at a private facility. He's doing what he needs to do for his family just as yours is. Although you are sad, think about how he may be upset too when having to miss appointments.

My husband got a new job and now he can't make any of my appointments and I'm 30 weeks so I was hurt at first but I know that he is doing what is best and making the money we need to provide for our daughter. But I know the feeling

Is your doctor on time when you go? My appointments usually run late - could he maybe make it to meet you there?

My husband has had to miss all but the first ultrasound and one other appointment. He works 70 hours a week between his two jobs and has to drive 45 minutes away for his full time. He never gets off in time to be there, even with the latest appointments. It sucks, but I know it's worth it because me and baby will be taken care off. If he didn't work so much, we'd have to get childcare so that I could work. Try to focus on the positives, and be thankful your mother is able to come. (:

My hubby has been to 0 appointments due to work and I'm 28 weeks..sometimes its just the best thing. Most appointments nothing exciting happens anyways. Maybe you can schedule to have him there at your 20w scan...
