9 days Late??

Question

I am 9 days late. I’ve had a history of irregular periods, more tho when I was on birth control. I have been off birth control for about 2 years. I’ve been regular and haven’t really had issues but my periods are heavy. I’m 9 days late & idk why. I do use protection with my husband. I’ve taken 2 tests ( last week ) and negative. Any thoughts??

Your period can be late for any number of reasons (stress, traveling, sickness, increased exercise, etc) or just because lol our bodies aren’t clocks so it’s common and natural for us to have an off cycle every once and a while. It’s possible you didn’t ovulate at all and will just miss this period. It’s not really concerning unless it’s 90 days w/o a period or a positive hpt
