Rheumatoid arthritis after pregnancy

Hi all,

I had my little girl nearly 4 months ago and since she turned two months I have been having pain in my joints that jumps from one joint to another. It was so bad I was crying while lifting her up. Went to my doctor, got blood tests done and came up I have developed rheumatoid arthritis... no one in my family has ever had issues with their joints. Doctor said its most likely the shift in hormones postpartum that caused it. I am so upset, feels like my body is after failing me... I will have to either be on tablets or injections for the rest of my life. I'm only 29 years old too. It's tough with a small baby and a fiery nearly 3 year old, mental load is huge as it is and now this...I am really feeling extremely low and just feel like crying all the time. Has anyone been in the same situation?
