I want to go on birth control but have read scary things about it like very long periods messes up hormones loss of sex drive ect what's the best type with no problems or if so the type of birth control with less problems

If you're too afraid of side effects which is what all birth controls do just stay celibate. But personally I'd go with the Depo shot or implant bc pills are too difficult and can stress you out if you forget them.

im on the patch (1.5 months now) and i like it! i always remember to change it (which is why i feared the pill - not remembering every day). my one problem is that the stickiness gets worrysome after a few days. the first ever week i put it on my back and after 5 days the edges began peeling (also have oily skin on back) so now i put it on my arm but it wrinkles in the middle still (arm skin is bound to move all the time) which makes me nervous but so far no problems although idk where to put it once winter long sleeves no longer hide my arms (ive heard people put it on their upper thigh)
