So last light i was just picking up things around the house and i caught my husband just looking into the room we keep closed. The reason why is because its a half put together nursery and ever since i miscarried we couldn't even look in the room without getting emotional. I caught him in the doorway crying to himself. Its been 6 months since ive miscarried. A few minutes later when we get ready and go to bed he does something way out of the ordinary and says he wants a baby. Normally im the one that would say something like that rather than him but this caught me off guard. Then he went on for the next hour laying in bed talking about future kids and where he's going to take family vacations and all these types of things a dad would. I not sure what happened but it almost seems like a different man came out of that room. I go to bed almost every night telling him how much i want a baby, then he turns around and does it. My husband never said he didnt want kids but always felt like he was holding back. The only thing i think is that he never cried it out until yesterday. Anyone else have a husband just surprised them like this?
