I'm sorry- I have to preface this comment before addressing your question.

The whole "cherry popped" concept is a socially fucked up one. If you bleed the first time you have sex something is usually wrong. Meaning he was t properly lubricated, or you weren't wet enough. The bleeding thing isn't supposed to be a normal thing.

With that being said...
1) It IS possible for your hymen to mend itself but it takes YEARS usually.
2) You could have possible not been wet enough, and he could have scratched you
3) He could have scratched you (even if you were wet) by fingering roughly and hard.
