Don’t want a wedding ??

So my bf proposed recently! I’m obviously happy and already knew I wanted to do life with him as we’ve discussed it forever. But now the next step. The wedding. I honestly told him I was in no rush to get engaged because I didn’t want to plan a wedding. It just sounds like an exhausting waste for one day. I don’t want to be the center of attention and don’t care to have a ton of people there to judge. I’m estranged from a pretty large chunk of my family and don’t want my mom to even be there (cut her out years ago). Has anyone done something completely different? Not the whole big white wedding? Sort of considering eloping in the mountains or something but the more I think about it, the more I consider signing a paper and being done with all of it.
