Possible Miscarriage??

I was 3 months late on my period which is NOT unusual for me since I have PCOS. My boobs were super tender and sore for weeks and that’s also not uncommon for me w a skipped period but then I started cramping like really bad but I was only spotting which was different for me. No tylenol or ibuprofen was helping me at all. Just cramping really bad. Then two days later I passed this and I’ve been bleeding heavier on and off ever since. This is day 6 since the spotting started and no sign of it ending soon bc right now it’s heavy. But then it hit me that what if this was a miscarriage? Can anybody give me some advice on this or anyone who has experienced a miscarriage tell me anything please? We’ve been trying for 3 yrs and then this happens.
