Got my first pregnancy Charlie horse today and it was willd!

Autumn

Okay so, I had my 28 week appointment today where I was getting my glucose test done. All week I’ve been stressing about if I’m diabetic what will that mean for Halloween and thanksgiving and Christmas. Because one thing about me, I’m food motivated and definitely a foodie and being pregnant as well has quadrupled the intensity I feel towards food. I hope my baby is a hungry little hippo like I am when they get here so we can bond over that. Anyways, I passed the 1 hour glucola test and it wasn’t bad but I was losing a little dexterity and verbal communication skills after I got my blood drawn. (The phlebotomist asked me a question. And I said “I don’t know” maybe 3 times because my brain wouldn’t form my response) I knew sometime was wrong because…. I always know. 💁🏼‍♀️

I was fine after a cookie and juice and then I got to go home and await my results. I took a nap for 6 hours. And then I woke up with a Charlie horse in my right calf. It was miserable and I’m proud of myself for not screaming in pain or crying but got damn… it hurt. Well I wish all you other January due mommies luck in the muscle cramps department. Together we are strong.
