Husband’s sister doesn’t want me as a bridesmaid

So my husband is extremely close with his sister, so when we got married I really wanted her close in our wedding party, plus I didn’t have a lot of friends or females in my family, so she was a bridesmaid. She sometimes has been known in the past to exclude me from things when we were dating, but I try not to let it bother me because my husband cares about her and we are married now anyway. Well she is getting married now, and I am not among the bridesmaids, obviously my husband is a groomsman. It feels really embarrassing to me but I also know I have no room at all to feel any kind of way about this. I’m really trying to tell myself there’s a lot of factors that contribute to someone being a bridesmaid or not. It still just makes me feel silly though. She really started being a lot nicer to me when my husband and I got engaged, so I know she is nice and civil for his sake but still I’m just sad I never got to have a good relationship with a sister in law. There’s so reason for me to be sad over this right? I’m really trying to not let it bother me.
