Morning sickness isn’t going away?

Question

I found out yesterday at my 12 week appointment that baby does not have a heartbeat and stopped growing at 9 weeks. That means that I lost it 3 weeks ago, but I am still so nauseous. Shouldn’t these symptoms have gone away by now? 
Going for a D&C on Friday.

If your body hasn’t recognized the loss yet your levels probably aren’t dropping just yet. Which is why you’re still feeling sick

No its universes cruel joke. I was lucky and found out the day after mine died. Had morning sickness for an additional week

You would think they would :( but that’s not always the case:( I had a missed miscarriage and was nauseous and sick 4 weeks after my baby had passed.

Your body is just under a lot of physical (and emotional) stress and will take a while to reset. Hormones and organs have to return to normal. Maybe talk to your dr about getting some anti nausea meds to help. Sorry you’re going through this 💕
