Was it a chemical pregnancy or a false positive test?

Hi everyone,

I know it was far too early but, being my first month TTC post IUD-removal, I took a pregnancy test 1 week PO and it showed as below.

The next morning, all tests were negative and I’ve since gotten my period.

Is it likely to have been a chemical? Are these more common post IUS-removal?

The test was a supermarket own brand and I can see from the reviews quite a few people have had false positives.

I should say I had a terrible week - my sweet cat became unwell very suddenly and was put to sleep, I was beyond devastated, this may have contributed?
