Chemical pregnancy

Those of you who had chemical pregnancies / early pregnancy loss, did you doctors recommend that you wait until you’ve completed a period for the following month before you try again? I am currently going through a “period” or miscarriage after a chemical pregnancy and I’m being told to wait until after my next period (which is due to start December 20) which is not the news i wanted 🥺

Also, how many tries after a chemical until you had a successful pregnancy?
