No drug test mentioned?

I received a job offer and I start on Monday. No one has notified me about a drug test and it wasn’t stated in the offer. Is it safe to assume there will be no drug test?

Typically you get drug tested before actually starting the job so i would assume you're not being tested.

I believe I was tested after starting, but they did tell me the offer was contingent upon passing. If they didnt mention it, then they likely wont. Only 1 of the places Ive ever worked does drug testing, other jobs can require it upon suspicion but it isnt routine.
