When are you telling work?

When are you telling your work that you're pregnant? Im currently 11 weeks with my nuchal appointment next week, and then i need to book an appointment with my family doctor for the results. Im wanting to wait to be sure that theres a heartbeat and to hear that baby is healthy but im worried with all the appointments, that work will be questioning.

I told work at week 8 because we were traveling together and I couldn’t drink. I also have adhd and had to reduce my medication, so I wanted my boss to be aware. I will say I have a very family friendly employer.

Right away. I work in agriculture and morning sickness violates our “health and safety standard.” I don’t have enough PTO to stay home until it passes. Accommodating me has put my boss in a great position to learn about this stuff 🥴

I told management the day I found out. There's heavy lifting involved so I needed their support. Some people put two and two together as well. (Why aren't you lifting, why are you constantly peeing, why are you always sick) I'm not a good liar so they get the truth.

My close friends at work know but I will tell my boss and HR at 12 weeks. 🙂 I’m 11 weeks now

Work new the day after I got the positive, always better be safe. There is a lot more appointments than I remember having 7yr ago!
