How long till ttc after MC

I had a D and C and the methotrexate shot the first week of November after my second miscarriage this year. I have read alot about how long to wait before trying again. It's the shot that has Chemo in it that concerns me. I read online some people wait 6 months and of my dr said 3 cyles. I just ended my first period after 2 months of waiting. The other Dr said to get one last hcg test to be sure it is 0 and then I'm good to start trying. 2 months and one period. Too soon?
