My baby is 5.5 months and still wants to nurse every 2-3 hours, sometimes less than 2 hours. She’s a little chunk…16 lbs ☺️ I wonder if I’m breastfeeding her too much. Should I still feed on demand?

Continue feeding on demand - babies need a lot during growth spurts, and growing happens frequently. There is no such thing as breastfeeding too much, especially before 6-12+ months when baby is primarily reliant on breastmilk for all nutrients. My 2 year old still nurses every 2-3 hours when he's sick or going through a spurt.

My little guy eats I feel all the time. Sometimes it’s an hour between feedings. Sometimes it will be 4 or 5 hours. It’s all over the place. He clusters and then goes back to a ‘normal’ feeding cycle. I feed on demand.
