My 20 month old caught hand, foot and mouth the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, however, because it started on his diaper area, we thought it was just a diaper rash until that Friday when he had spots on his hands and around his mouth and wouldn’t eat. We took him to urgent care and his case was mild, and cleared up by the following Tuesday. On Wednesday , I had a small painful bump on my hand and thought I had something stuck in my hand, but by Thursday, 3 more appeared on just my right hand. I went to urgent care, but they couldn’t properly say yeah or no, and his dad and I have bumps just on our hands, but mine is spreading to my other hand. I just wanted to see if anyone had HFM, but only in one area with no other symptoms?
