How to patiently wait during TWW?

Question

What are some ways you find helpful to keep yourself from testing early?
Each month after ovulation, I promise myself I’ll wait until my expected period but once 9dpo comes, I can’t stop myself from testing early.
I think I need to “be transformed by the renewing of my mind” (Rom 12:2) but I’m not sure where to turn to for some wisdom and guidance that is specific to the TWW. 
Have you gotten any helpful insight that you don’t mind sharing?

I don’t have any tips… but know your not alone! I am 6dpo and already started testing. I know it’s pointless this early, but I have cheapie tests for this reason. I need to feeeeel like I am doing something.

I think if you are actively trying then you are like 99% of the other ladies on here and very excited about the possibility each month. I found it VERY difficult to control that time during TWW and just bought the bag of cheapie test strips and tested anyway to easy my mind. I always went into it with this will probably be negative but cautiously optimistic. 
I think it’s up to what you need each month to ease your mind. Testing with the cheapies at least I didn’t feel like I was loosing money on expensive tests and became an activity for me during this journey. I personally don’t see anything wrong with testing during that wait time but that was just what helped me. Good luck!
