When a guy that you haven’t known for long and have had brief conversations says to hit him up. Does that mean to text him? Should I be the first one to text him? I feel weird like I would be bothering him?

I messaged him and all I said was hi and some other things, and then all he said was hi he’s always available to talk for whatever and I said thanks and that was it!? 🫠
